This sweet little holiday home is set in Galtabäck, south of Varberg,
and overlooks the sea and the beautiful fields by the beach. The area is
a child-friendly, residential area with mainly summer houses and there
is very little traffic. The cottage is just a few hundred metres away
from the harbour Galtabäcks Hamn.
The cottage features a small kitchen, and a living room with
wall-to-wall carpeting. There are two bedrooms, one of which is a
rebuilt hall. The bathroom features a WC, a washbasin,and a shower.

In the area there are mostly holiday homes. There are almost no traffic at all because the road ends here.
Only a short walk if you want to take a swim in the sea. By car or by bike it is quite close to the small and cosy village Träslövsläge or the campingsite Björkäng with a chance to enjoy the sea or play mini golf.
Galtabäck is a great place for those who take an interest in boats. The
harbour is very close, as is the boat museum where you can admire a
number of boats typical of Halland. Every year, at the end of August,
they arrange “Båtmuseets dag”. Your cottage is situated only 10
kilometres from the lovely town of Varberg, where you will find an array
of shops, cafés, restaurants and more. Dont miss the old fortress, an
interesting historical remnant. The lovely island Getterön is not far,
this is an amazing place for bird watching. The island also offers
excellent beaches, exhibitions, a boutique and a café.
From Galtabäck its just a short 20-minute drive to the popular summer
town of Falkenberg. Falkenberg offers plenty of beautiful walking paths
and excellent fishing opportunities. There are also tennis- and riding
possibilities. The popular beach Skrea strand is not far from the town
centre, you can get there by bus or walk there. There are plenty of
other lovely bathing spots within a few kilometres distance. Stroll
through the Old Town and admire the picturesque view, stop for a coffee
in one of Falkenbergs excellent cafés, such as Ståhlboms and
Borgmästargården. Take a walk along the River Ätran and admire the
stunning view. Falkenberg offers shops, restaurants, bars, music events
and many other activities.
Another nice place to visit is Tylösand, one of Swedens most famous and
popular beaches, situated close to Halmstad, about a 30 minute drive
south from Falkenberg.
