"Pros: We enjoyed our stay in 73 Cowleigh Road very much. The house is large, spacious and simply decorated - all in white. The beds were comfortable and all the equipment worked as it should do. The location - half way up the Malvern Hills is striking. Two private parking spaces were listed in the details and these were perfect for our two Morgan open-top cars. The garden was beautiful and the outside furniture good for relaxing.
Cons: Our criticisms are minor but might help the owner to improve stays by future guests.
Several of the bowls and a couple of plates had small chips. There were insufficient mugs and no cups/saucers for use but a very large quantity of dinner plates - far too many for a house designed for 6 people.
Whilst the cooker was efficient for heating saucepans and cooking, an electric kettle would have been useful and no doubt would have saved energy costs.
The cupboards in the kitchen which held mugs/glasses etc. were very high on the wall. The up & over doors did not stay open and were very heavy to hold while one removed the crockery.
The access road to the "private" side road where the house was actually located was quite steep and had a very tight hair-pin bend - difficult for our Morgans to navigate easily and might have been impossible for a larger vehicle. A mention of this in the details would have been helpful." ~Rosemarie
