"Pros: Location was in the center. Hosts were supportive and kind. Overall very good experience.
Cons: Since we stayed in apartmemt (city center), the noise from the people on the street were very disturbing amd loud." ~Pēteris
"Pros: Our stay at B&B Panaro was very good. A few days before our arrival the host, Mina sent us directions and confirmed our arrival details so we could meet her to get the keys. Communication was done via WhatsApp which worked great for us. When we arrived it was raining and we had trouble finding a parking spot. Mina came outside in the pouring rain, helped direct us to the B&B and helped us find a parking spot too. She personally gave us the keys, a map of Alberobello, tour of the B&B and answered any questions we had. She did not speak English very well but used google translate which worked just fine! Mina recommended places to eat and even booked dinner reservations for us for both nights we were there. The B&B was spotless and very spacious. Breakfast was included, although it was primarily packaged food, yogurt and juice in the fridge. There was also tea, coffee, and milk. Mina even had some Lemoncello and a local liqueur in the freezer for us to try. She gave us the WiFi password and told us if we needed anything to just message via WhatsApp. The location was great for walking around Alberobello and easy to get out of town to explore the surrounding areas. The day we checked out Mina met us at the B&B to hand in keys and pay the local tax. Overall we had very good stay.
Cons: We were disappointed that the B&B from the outside did not look like a 'true' Trullo. While the ceiling inside was cone shaped the B&B itself was not a Trullo home. As mentioned breakfast was included but it was mostly packaged food. Perhaps Mina could partner with a local cafe and provide vouchers to guests to get fresh pastries and coffee in the mornings for breakfast. On the booking page one of the photos shows the hot tub and under amenities one of the first items listed is a hot tub. Mina told us to use the hot tub it would cost an additional 45 euro per person for 90 minutes and would include a platter of cold cuts and cheeses and a bottle of prosecco. We did not use the hot tub due to the rainy weather but was surprised this was additional. It should be advertised this way on the booking so one is not surprised." ~Patg
