Howe End is a single level cottage with a garden, set in Mungrisdale, 9 miles from Keswick. Guests benefit from patio and a barbecue. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site. There are multiple seating areas and a kitchen as well as a private bathroom. A flat-screen TV, as well as a CD/DVD player is provided. Other facilities at Howe End include a terrace. Guests can enjoy views of the Northern Fells in the Lake District from the property. Bike hire is available locally and the area is popular for hiking around the fells. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including cycling, fishing, horse riding, golfing and sailing.
Please note dogs can be accommodated by prior arrangement at a cost of GBP 20 for up to a week, payable in cash on arrival. Please note if using a Sat Nav, please use the postcode CA11 0SZ and the turn off to Near Howe is slightly further down on the right-hand side. From the East (North and South) - Penrith and the M6 Travelling West on A66 from the M6 Motorway (Junction 40) • Continue 8 miles towards Keswick when you pass the turnoff to Troutbeck (A5091) • Continue for approximately 1 mile and take the next right hand turn signposted Mungrisdale and Caldbeck • Continue for approximately 1 mile to the sign for Near Howe is on the right hand side of the road • The drive way crosses two fields, and then rises past an old ruin up to the top of the hill where you will find the property
