"Pros: Snowshill was very special.Loved being a little removed from the throng of tourists.
Cons: The unit was on the small side but that was how places were built in the old days." ~Diana
"Pros: Log burner was very nice.
Cons: Double bed small and uncomfortable for me. Dust down side of bed on skirting board. No spare toilet rolls." ~Christine
"Pros: Absolutely fantastic position in a beautiful village and a very pleasant cottage with comfortable accommodation. The cottage is well-equipped with kitchen utensils, glass & crockery and the beds were comfortable. Lots of Cotswold attractions closeby and although it was the start of autumn, for our specific week the weather was exceptionally good to us! We did a mixture of self-catering and eating out--there are plenty of good eating places reasonably close and the local pub, the Snowshill Arms does very well priced and well-cooked food within a few hundred yards' walk. National Trust Snowshill manor is also literally on the doorstep. All in all a very enjoyable week.
Cons: The bathrooms layouts--there is a good sized family bathroom but this is on the ground floor (both bedrooms are on first floor) and there is a quite small shower/toilet on the 1st floor. Some windows are in urgent need of replacement--in particular the west facing one in the twin-bedded room. This window is not only draughty (suspect it could be quite cold in winter) but there is a good deal of black mould where the window frame meets the window cill." ~Geoff
