"Pros: The location was ideal to walk into Rothenburg and there is free parking onsite, which is great. We did not have much interaction with the host apart from being giving us the key. The apartment was spacious and very clean. Cons: The showerhead holder was very low I had to hold the shower above me to wash my hair, which was a bit awkward. There were 2 steep flights of stairs to get to our room in the attic, no problem for us, but might be a struggle for people with mobility issues or heavy luggage." ~Solvejg

"Pros: Clean modern room with stylish fittings, a nice antidote if you overdose on medieval charm during the day. Bed was super comfortable. The location was just a couple of minutes walk to one of the city gates so very easy to access the walled town. I like the concept of a communal area which has a wonderful well equipped Balthrup kitchen with high quality kitchen accessories so we were able to make our own breakfast. A nice touch was the trust bar which had a range of items from drinks and snacks which we could purchase at anytime. Free parking on site was also a bonus Cons: A lot was made of the digital check-in via mobile phone, but this was not working so we had to check-in the conventional way at the reception in the main hotel next door. Also the automated lighting controls did not seem to work via the in-room ipad provided, neither were problems to us as these were not essentials for us but were prominent in the website as benefits. The hotel is not accessible in that there are stairs to enter and no lift. again not an issue for us but maybe should be highlighted more in the website." ~Peter
