"Pros: We were bowled over by this large, lovingly and stylishly restored high-ceilinged designer apartment built in 1906. We loved the many artistic flourishes, including candles in the bathroom and living room. We loved having a bath tub to relax in, as well as a shower. We loved the well-equipped kitchen, with herbs, salt, pepper, sugar and cooking oil. The apartment was warm, and had great Wi-Fi and a big screen TV. There is even a Banksy reproduction on the bedroom wall. We loved the location, equidistant between the Old Town and the Elbe bridge leading to Zgorzelec on the Polish side. The 66 euro a night tariff in low-season mid-March fitted our limited budget perfectly.
Cons: I am an Old Age Pensioner so I huffed and puffed a bit while bringing my wife's 20 KG suitcase up three flights of stairs. There is no elevator in this upscale apartment house"
