Picturesquely situated on the shore of the Święcajty Lake, the 3-star Hotel Ognisty Ptak features an elegant spa and wellness centre with a swimming pool, a hot tub and sauna free of charge. All rooms and bungalows at the Ognisty Ptak come with free internet and a safety deposit box. Each has a satellite TV and a modern bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. All bungalows have a fireplace. A varied buffet breakfast is served every morning at the stylish hotel restaurant, which specialises in regional Polish and European dishes. There is also a tavern, Karaka, with a unique interior, evening events such as concerts and dancing and cold beer. Front desk staff is available 24 hours a day. Hotel Ognisty Ptak is located 18 kilometres from the city of Giżycko. The airport in Kętrzyn is located 35 kilometres from the resort.

Upon request, and for an additional charge, the resort can arrange transport from Kętrzyn Airport and Giżycko Railway Station.
