"Pros: Beautiful spot on the river. Appreciated having the restaurant on site and the included breakfasts. The staff/owners there were very friendly and helpful (and could speak English well, which was helpful). They offered to organise tours and private drivers on our behalf and helped us to figure out how to get to Phong Nha. This is a wonderful area to visit, so many options of things to see. Cons: We could not make the hot water for the shower work, but didn’t mind cool showers in the heat. So we did not ask for help. We have experienced no hot water in other places in Vietnam, so it may be the local custom." ~Denise
