"Pros: Situated in a beautiful lush tropical garden, Mango Home is serenity and bliss, just 15 km away from the Ben Tre city center. Our room was very nice and sparkling clean. Staff is young and still learning, but very kind and helpful, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and safe. They have a 24/7 hotline for any help you might need with your travel.
We booked their 1-day Ben Tre tour and had a lovely 4+ hours through the villages, visiting small scale industries and learning about the life of the people living near the river. Our guide was very knowledgeable and attentive (she also presented us with many facts about tropical plants, when she realised that we are interested in tropical flora). We used 4 types of transportation - boat, bicycle, tuk-tuk and sampan and had some tea and coconut candy in a local garden. It was a very pleasant day!
We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and to chat about Vietnam and our travels. They are very hospitable and treat every guest with respect and courtesy.

"Pros: The setting for the homestay is really lovely with the lush trees and plants and the river. The meals were really yum and very generous portions! The owner was really helpful with arranging transport to town as the Grabs won’t pick up out there.
Cons: You do need to taxi to get anywhere as it is a bit out of town, so while it is part of the charm of the property it could be a negative for those wanting to explore town. Also the beds were super firm!!"

"Pros: We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved our experience. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Everything was clean and well taken care of. It's run by a lovely Vietnamese family who make us feel welcome. They helped us book transport and local tours, which made everything so much easier.
I even forgot my laptop charger, and they kindly sent it all the way to Ho Chi Minh City for me without asking for anything in return—an incredible gesture we deeply appreciated.
The food was good and fresh, especially the breakfast and meals prepared on-site. We truly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. A huge thank you to the owners for all their help and kindness!"

Directions to Mango Home B&B: From Ho Chi Minh City head to Ben Tre city centre, connect to Dong Khoi Boulevard in Ben Tre and turn left (eastward). Travel on the 885 Highway for about 6 km towards Giong Trom District and Chet Say Bridge. Mango Home B&B is located 700 metres after crossing this bridge on the right hand side and a short 8-minute walk through the village.
