"Pros: The hostel was very centrally located and seconds away from beer street inside a quiet alleyway. Not the hostels fault but just something to keep in mind, I arrived on a Saturday and my grab couldn’t reach the hostel bc the surrounding streets were closed to cars due to the markets. I had to walk to the hostel with heavy luggage. The dorms were spacious, beds were very comfortable, luggage storage under the bed was large enough to fit my 70l, 45l and small duffel. This hostel had an ELEVATOR! It made arriving and leaving that much easier with heavy luggage. The showers were constantly being cleaned. Toilet would be out of toilet paper one day and be restocked a few hours later, that was amazing. Receptionists always greeted me when I arrived and when I would leave the hostel for the day. They were all very kind and even printed out my visa to Vietnam at no cost There was a free walking tour every morning. The free breakfast was really good too. My favorite thing about the hostel was the happy hour every day. I stayed for 5 nights and I met so many people each night bc of it. It was a great way to find people to get dinner with. The people I met during this happy hour were the people I went out partying with and hung out with during my stay. I go for the social but not party hostel type of vibe and this hostel fit the bill. Cons: The 10 bed mixed dormitory without my genius discount is $62usd for 5 nights but the 6 bed female dormitory (only available option) is $109usd for 5 nights. I should not have to pay almost double to be with just women. Luckily everything went well and the majority of occupants in my 10 bed mixed dormitory were women. If it weren’t for my very generous getaway deal and genius discount that was applied, I would not have booked this hostel for this reason. The drinks with the free breakfast were not free so I had to pay for orange juice every morning. Tours provided by the hostel were more pricier than if booked on your own so I did not book any tours through the hostel for this reason." ~Stacey
