"Pros: Situated in a beautiful lush tropical garden, Mango Home is serenity and bliss, just 15 km away from the Ben Tre city center. Our room was very nice and sparkling clean. Staff is young and still learning, but very kind and helpful, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and safe. They have a 24/7 hotline for any help you might need with your travel. We booked their 1-day Ben Tre tour and had a lovely 4+ hours through the villages, visiting small scale industries and learning about the life of the people living near the river. Our guide was very knowledgeable and attentive (she also presented us with many facts about tropical plants, when she realised that we are interested in tropical flora). We used 4 types of transportation - boat, bicycle, tuk-tuk and sampan and had some tea and coconut candy in a local garden. It was a very pleasant day! We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and to chat about Vietnam and our travels. They are very hospitable and treat every guest with respect and courtesy. I warmly recommend Mango Home!" ~Sonia

"Pros: The setting for the homestay is really lovely with the lush trees and plants and the river. The meals were really yum and very generous portions! The owner was really helpful with arranging transport to town as the Grabs won’t pick up out there. Cons: You do need to taxi to get anywhere as it is a bit out of town, so while it is part of the charm of the property it could be a negative for those wanting to explore town. Also the beds were super firm!!" ~Carlie
