"Pros: Guesthouse run by a nice family. I was able to leave my bike parked inside on the ground floor. Booked a small room (no windows to the street) which was a good idea to keep the noise as little as possible. The room comes with a kettle as well as 2 small bottles of water and some black tea. Water pressure is good and hot. The Wi-Fi works well too, and the AC cools very fast. I reserved on Booking one day before arrival (300VND). Cons: The mattress felt quite hard (typical Vietnamese); to me, the price-value ratio was not great, even for the Ha Giang area as it felt like a very simple stay." ~Castelló

"Pros: Relatively clean, Air conditioner can be changed to heater when the weather was quite cold at night, water kettle for us to make tea in the room, hair dryer, although the owner can't speak much English, we could communicate through Google translate, they helped to arrange for our transport back to Ha Giang and to rent a motorbike for a day trip around dong van (bike wasn't great but not sure about the condition of bikes from rental company), a lot of trekking potential in dong van, really enjoyed the treks between villages, very beautiful scenery Cons: Bedsheets and quilt cover that are synthetic material, hence it can be quite warm, we chose the bigger room which faces the market, hence it can be quite noisy in the morning on market day" ~Nelly
