"Pros: The house is amazing. Just perfect for our group of 6 adults and 2 children. The layout works so well. Plenty to do at the house. And a central base for days out. Never visited Sherborne before, and it was just gorgeous. We had an amazing stay. And the hosts couldn't have been more helpful when we broke down on the day we were going home. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Cons: Sykes Cottages really are the worst to try and interact with. Nearly impossible to speak to them on the phone. We had an issue which we wanted to talk to the hosts about - but all you can do is message Sykes and hope that they contact the owners. Being able to converse directly would have been much less frustrating." ~Sharon

"Pros: The property is beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. There is plenty of space for a large group of 8, and lots to entertain (pool table, table football, board games, hot tub, beautiful garden). The kitchen is well equipped and a great family space with a large dining table, comfy sofa and plenty of space for several people to prepare food at the same time. Bedrooms are lovely with very comfy beds. The whole house was spotlessly clean. The host, Sarah was friendly and communicative and could not do enough to make sure we had everything we needed before and during our stay. We loved this holiday home and will definitely be returning. Cons: The cost was a bit steep for 2 nights, however, we realised after booking that it works out to be really good value if booking for a longer stay. We'll definitely do this next time! We were offered a late check-out which was really appreciated as we could spend another full day at the property." ~Alimagally
