"Pros: This property is not scored correctly. I was extremely happy with the room, house, bed, how clean the room and house / facilities were. This most definitely should be ‘Very Good’ at the least. I was pleasantly surprised when arriving. The staff are absolutely lovely too. Couldn’t ask for nicer, helpful people. Bed was super comfy, the place was spotless and the shower was brilliant. Was made to feel very welcome. Booking.com needs to up the ranking for this property. Definitely recommend! Cons: Nothing. Parking isn’t directly outside, but free parking is literally 2 min walk." ~John

Stunning 1-bed Studio In Windsor

"Pros: Pets allowed. Cons: It is not a studio; rather, this is a double bedroom in a shared house with the owners, more like Airbnb. We were under the impression that there were three separate studios, each with their own keys, as described. Thus, it came as a surprise when I opened the door and found myself in the kitchen, where the owner was working on a woodworking project in the garden. To access the loft room, we had to pass through the kitchen. The description provided was entirely misleading. I wouldn't have minded if I had knowingly booked a double room with owners on-site. However, as I was traveling with my dog, I specifically sought out an independent studio to ensure greater comfort for both myself and other users of the studios. Interestingly, the same room is advertised as "Castle View" with a rating of 6.1, featuring identical descriptions and photos. It seems that someone has chosen to list it under a different name on Booking.com without any reviews. While the room itself was nice, boasting a comfortable bed and mattress, it failed to meet several expectations outlined in the description and lacked adherence to safety regulations. There was no microwave or kettle provided in the room, nor was there a single futon on the floor. Additionally, there were no bin in the room , no smoke alarm, and the light switch in the bathroom was non-functional. Strangely, the switch intended for the bathroom fan turned off the light instead. Furthermore, there was no fan in the bathroom, which is currently illegal in the UK. The most absurd aspect was the shower. Nowhere in the description was it mentioned that cars could be parked in the playground area's car park, as the street is strictly for residents only. When I requested a parking permit for guests, the owner informed me that they did not possess one. Instead, they suggested I park my car nearby, failing to mention that the area becomes pitch black and unsafe at night due to the lack of lighting." ~Grazyna

Charming Cottage In Windsor - Walk To Castle &shops!

"Pros: Great little house! Beautifully decorated and presented. Facilities were great, everything you need for a short or longer stay. Lounge was comfortable with a sofa to seat two or three and flat screen TV. Kitchen was well presented and well equipped. Bedrooms were bright and comfortable, beds were made and bedding was clean and of good quality. Bathroom is small but well proportioned. Location was excellent, an easy walk to Windsor Castle. Also and as a runner it was lovey to run into Windsor and down the Long Mile. No allocated parking but we were able to park (free) on the next street. Overall a fantastic stay and we would book again. Cons: Not a ‘didnt like’ just a comment. It was lovely to have a little courtyard and I sat in this in the morning with a cuppa and my book. It’s a great space and could be made even better with a few plants and some new furniture. Like I said not a complaint !" ~Melissa
