"Pros: House is very comfortable & clean on arrival. Lovely interior Cons: Parking is an absolute nightmare & would be the reason I would never rent the property again which is a shame as lovely house. It advertises off street parking or at the rear which is very misleading. Double yellow lines outside the house. Across the road is a row of houses & during 5 days never saw a spare space. When it says rear of property it isn't directly at the back of the property. Parking is on a housing estate behind the house & once again lucky if you find a space. My car ended up with someone putting a dent in the middle of my bonnet, so definitely park at your own risk. Outside bins were overflowing when arrived, so no space for us to put our bin liners out when departing. More than 1 tea towel & some cleaning products during our stay would have been nice. Only Netflix available on tv." ~Fiona

"Pros: Very private. Location okay (30 minute walk to rail station). Quick and helpful response from host and cleaners when required. Comfy bed. Good basics: hair dryer, iron, extra heater, fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster, washing machine, tea, coffee, sugar. Free parking on roadside (when available). Cons: Pre-information needed to be clearer regarding damage deposit payment (which also unlocks info regarding key code etc). Kitchen flooring very uneven, suggesting problem with floorboards below laminate (possibly soon to become dangerous). Very limited kitchen surfaces (despite there being plenty of available room). A dish rack but no draining board - so the water goes everywhere (suggest using one of the towels underneath). Inadequate supply of cutlery even to cater for two people. No salt, pepper or other condiments. Only one tea towel and one hand towel. Shower was small and very slow-draining. Shower holder loose." ~Chris

"Pros: Good location for a visit to Legoland or Windsor Castle. There were some great restaurants nearby and a Tesco just down the road. House was clean and modern with ample space for 6 guests. The whole house was nice and warm. We even had an urban fox who slept in the rear garden raised bed. Communication with the letting agent was easy with fast responses. Cons: The smart TV did not have access to terrestrial channels, I presume they do not pay for a licence. When streaming content, it kept coming up with an error. It's not great when you want to relax at the end of a busy day. We knew the property did not have parking, but this was a problem as we ended up driving around looking for somewhere to leave our cars. The roads nearby were either permit holders only or double yellow lines, so what parking was available was taken. The bedroom and bathroom in the roofspace had limited headroom because of the roof pitch. This made standing in the bath and showering difficult. The bathroom also needed a shaving mirror." ~Mark
