"Pros: The property was easy to find, allocated parking was fine. We arrived at 7pm, the accommodation was 50 yds from a nice pub serving great food. It is a five minute downhill walk to a variety of shops, restaurants, and other pubs. A further few minutes to Bowness quayside, and a nice walk around the area. We stayed for two nights, and the property was good for a short stay, whilst everything was there, we didn't use the cooking facilities. Cons: We were there during pretty cold weather, and the only dislike (if you want me to be picky) is that the room heating was just about o.k. , under the very comfy duvet was better." ~Jim

"Pros: Amazing place to stay, perfect for a couple for a short stay, clean and fresh. Perfect for both Bowness and Windermere quiet place but in the centre of everything. For our first holiday in 10 years without kids it was perfect the balcony in the afternoon gets the sun for just sitting and relaxing. My partner is having that it has a lake view it's a little bit through the trees, and it is only a 20 minute walk from the Jetty Museum we're you can spend the day paddle boarding and learning about the history of the lake. We had an amazing stay and will stay again if we could have stayed forever we would have. Perfect if like us you don't need a space for the car as it is central to everything. Watching the aeroplanes from the balcony is amazing. Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like." ~Brooks
