"Pros: Wonderful little place with amazing hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was really lovely and very plentiful. Very close to Alton Towers which is where we were headed. Definitely recommend.
Cons: On booking.com the format made me think it was a 2 bedroom property, which it isn't, it's one bedroom. This is absolutely no fault of the hosts and the property ended up being fine for us as my daughter and I slept on the sofa bed in the lounge. It wasn't hugely comfortable and quite squeaky, so best for one person rather than two on the sofa bed I would say. But to reiterate, this is a Booking.com issue and a "me" issue."

"Pros: The owners were extremely accommodating, providing knowledge of the area and fluffy towels and robes for use of the hot tub.
It was a special weekend celebrating my partners birthday and the token bubbly was very much appreciated.

Cons: Advertised as having a Kadai Fire Bowl to cook evening meal on. It was there, but full of cigarette ends, and full to within a couple of centimetres of the brim with ash, it was certainly not clean enough to cook food on.
The ‘welcome pack’ consisted of a bottle of water and a small plastic bottle of milk. Not sure what is meant by ‘enjoying a Staffordshire breakfast in the morning”
There was no instructions on how to operate the conduction hob……though I had used one before, other occupants might not have….. or how to lower the dining table to lower the bed.
No dish cloth, or kitchen towel, no instructions where to place rubbish."
