"Pros: It’s location and it’s access to the town Access to room was via 16 step steps, so beware if you book this location otherwise access was fine. Cons: The room looked clean but needed a wipe down on all surfaces. Towels were a tad thin" ~Brian

"Pros: Hugh was an exceptional host. He went above and beyond for us. He made sure our holiday was a lovely experience. He was full of knowledge about the area and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless and the beds really comfortable. The shower room was small but had everything necessary for a use. An excellent place to stay - lovely harbour, short walks nearby, good eateries and access to island ferries. It was the perfect place to explore the area, half way on the peninsula. "Pros: Location was excellent for us, room was good in that we had booked a normal double and were allocated one with a sea view.Thanks However we often use Premier Inns and room not as good as that and a lot dearer. However Tarbert seems to generally be expensive for the quality of accomodation on offer so maybe value for Tarbert.Carpet in bedroom was a pain carpet with no pattern so marks very visible and shower sealant needs replaced,looking a bit black. Breakfast service was nice pleasant staff but for us the Scottish breakfast was too much of a fry up than being slightly healthier and grilling where possible.Bacon would appear to have been in deep fat fryer until it was like leather.Opted for poached egg the following day, a better choice.
