"Pros: The cottage was cosy & warm, well equipped and very comfortable. It was beautifully decorated and had everything you could possibly need, plus a welcome pack which included a bottle of wine. Thank you Sally.
Rothbury is lovely, with little independent gift shops, bakeries & delis and we had very reasonable & delicious meals at La Mensa and the Newcastle House Hotel. We visited beautiful Cragside and had some lovely walks too.
Would definitely recommend The Old Telephone Exchange and would like to return soon.
Cons: No real problems - parking at the back of the cottage was a bit awkward and there were church bells ringing every 15 minutes - but that's all."
