"Pros: My room was a single bed with a private bath and a sea view. The view was spectacular and the bathroom was wonderful. The room itself was very small, but this didn't matter at all. There was a problem with my window not closing about which the "housekeeping" (I am not sure who) was very professional and attentive. The community kitchen exceeded my expectations. I was easily able to keep my things in the fridge which was roomy and clean. Breakfast was self serve and excellent. I could have made eggs, ham and cheese and there were all of the usual other breakfast foods. The location was an easy walk to the ferry, train station and shopping street. Groceries were easily accessed nearby, and I also walked to the other side of town and saw at least four major grocery stores. The wifi was great. I will definitely stay here again when in Oban. Cons: The front desk staff came up from the pub below. This seemed to be confusing to people who had just arrived. Be prepared for this when signing in. You might need to go down to the pub to get a reception person." ~Juanita
