"Pros: The Wheatsheaf had a good atmosphere with excellent attentive staff and both the two evening meals and breakfasts we had over the weekend were excellent. The room was clean and tidy with a good sized ensuite and large shower. Cons: There is a church opposite the Wheatsheaf which rings the bells until quite late at night and starts early in the morning, so if you are a light sleeper the hotel provides ear plugs. This might not suit everyone. It didn't bother us though as our window had secondary glazing which helped to muffle the sound enough so as not to interrupt our sleep." ~Roger
