"Pros: The house was perfect for a little country retreat. We had dinner at the local pub on the first night and cooked on the second night. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a roast for 6 people. The beds were really comfortable and everyone slept very well. The garden was beautiful. The house was immaculate and there were lots of nice touches for a welcoming stay. Cons: The only thing was when we made the booking, initially we needed to change the dates due to a red weather warning across most of the country. The host accepted this request but the management company that the host uses tried to charge an additional fee for changing the dates, which felt quite silly. That's not the host's fault, but it would have been nice to deal directly with them as the company seemed quite OTT. That said, in the end they agreed to waive the fee after some negotiations and being on hold for some time whilst the reps spoke to management." ~Sophia
