"Pros: Great location- very private apartment and obliging hosts. Cons: The bathroom/toilet arrangement was a bit mad - you have to walk through the shower to get to the toilet - I can't understand why the positions of the two hadn't been reversed. That said, the shower was hot (after 2-3 minutes), though not very powerful. The irritating things were the lack of appropriate utensils for cooking/chopping/eating. No dish drainer - just one drying cloth (on which we had to drain the washing up), just one giant chopping knife (not much good for tomatoes or cheese!), no colander (so you couldn't manage pasta very well), just one microplaner (too fine for ordinary cheese), no garlic press (so we had to use the microplane to grate it!), no sensible tumblers (so we had to drink whiskey out of flutes), not enough coffee sachets... The hosts have obviously never had to put together even the simplest meal there themselves. For a self-catering apartment, it was lacking in the appropriate equipment. That said, it was very private and cosy and the bedroom area was delightful - but the kitchen area needs work!" ~Susan
