"Pros: I liked the location to the beach, how big the kitchen and social areas were. The gift upon entrance were a lovely touch, including Welsh snacks and a bottle of Prosecco. The hot tub was lovely! Especially after a cold dip in the sea. Cons: Although the property states suitable for 13, I think it should specify ;if 3 are children'. Initially we were told there were three separate sofa beds, which would have been great because it was for 3 adults. Upon arrival we could not find the sofa beds so rung them and they instructed us that 3 were meant to stay on the same sofa bed. The sofa bed was roughly the size of a double and no way that 3 full sized adults would fit on it, so we were forced to have one person sleep on the bean bag, which wasn't the most ideal or comfy. I think just pointing out the bed arrangements more clearly in the description of the property would have prevented this. If we were to revisit we would probably revisit with 10/11 adults instead of 13. More toilet roll would have been great, as with 13 people we ran out after one day with the amount supplied." ~Danielle

"Pros: The location was wonderful it had plenty of bedrooms for a large family. The living room upstairs gave amazing views across to the Irish Sea Cons: When we arrived the boiler was not working no hot water and no heating. We had 5 young children with us. We were advised at 19:30pm at night they could not get a hold of the owners of the property to gain permission to have the boiler fixed by a local engineer. So we had to leave the property for the night check into a hotel until the boiler was fixed. Thankfully the next day the boiler was fixed we were able to stay one night. However I have been refused a refund due the night we were unable to stay there by the owners. This I find unacceptable as they have a house maid surely all the facilities should have been checked to ensure working before our arrival! Also the property hasn’t had a deep clean in a long time as there was dog hairs all over the carpets & under the kitchen table. Dust and ingrained dirt on skirting boards etc." ~Lavinia

"Pros: Beds were comfy, properly secure for dogs in the garden (unless they are fence jumpers). We didn’t have kids with us but it would a great property for younger children also. Hot tub great (added extra that wasn’t obvious at all on booking.com website sadly). If you like the tv there is a smart tv in every room. Nice and local to trearrdur bay also. Lovely and warm and easy to control temperature. Lovely and light house also, great view from the kitchen window also. Cons: The hassle of booking.com website not making it clear the hot tub wasn’t included so we only had 3 days to use it but the owners sorted it really quickly for us once we raised it, thanks: )" ~Kerry
