"Pros: The house was in a total get away from it all location, with views of seals and sea eagles. The rocky Bays of Harris have a unique charm, and driving the single track roads is quite thrilling. Not too long a trip to Leverburgh for a shop which stocks most of the essentials. Cons: I can't think of anything I didn't like. If one felt too cool in bed, extra blankets as well as pillows were available. Perhaps a pint of milk in the fridge would be a good idea, especially for those arriving later in the day. Every appliance was there if you wished to stay there without going elsewhere, and there's plenty to see and do around the Bays." ~Mackinnon

"Pros: Beautiful location, really peaceful and scenic - loved the seals just opposite! Lodge itself was comfortable, light and airy Cons: Few niggles with not having enough towels and unfortunately the freezer and oven had escaped the cleaners! All sorted quickly though" ~Richard

"Pros: Great location, very comfortable, lots of space for the family and two dogs. Cons: Given typical islands weather a dry room for wet clothes would have been helpful. We used the sauna!" ~Guy
