"Pros: If you are tall with back or mobility problems, this might not be the place for you! Being tall, it was nice to see other members of the family having to duck through places :-) More seriously, this is a truly exceptional ancient cottage, with all that entails. Amazing exposed timber beams, low ceilings in places, steep and uneven stairs in the main part of the cottage, although the kitchen and bathroom (with suitably modern facilities), are later additions, and of more normal proportions. The whole place is comfortable, and beautifully and traditionally decorated, but has all the necessary facilities, and a lovely garden as well. It doesn't have private parking, but during our stay we didn't have any problems with the on-street parking in the very quiet lane outside,"

"Pros: Bev was a very welcoming host. The room was exceptionally clean. Great facilities including tea, coffee, drinking water, fridge etc. had all the essentials. Lovely bathroom (shower only).
