"Pros: Cottage has been modernised to an exceptionally high standard, with a huge deal of thought going into the combination of rustic, modern and unique decoration. Cons: Bed base has been fabricated to fit in with the bedroom decoration. Unfortunately, several times I walked into the 90 degree corners of the "side runners" that are on the bed base, which are made from wooden planks (similar to sanded scaffold boards), which stick out about six inches from the bed, and are at ankle height when walking by. Might be an idea to "quarter round" these corners." ~Christopher

"Pros: Almost certainly the best holiday property we have stayed in. A fabulous quirky upside down cottage in a great location. Beautifully furnished and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need for a marvelous, relaxing stay. The garden is absolutely stunning, we were very lucky with the weather to be able to make the most of sitting outside in the sunshine. Curtis is a great host, and I would highly recommend booking his property! Cons: Having to leave at the end of our stay!" ~Chris

"Pros: Nice and warm during the winter with central heating timed generously. I didn't use the wood burner though I imagine it's even toastier with that. Had everything you need. Really good shower. Kitchen modern and everything works. Beds comfortable. As it's quite a small cottage this worked to it's advantage as it warms up quickly. Enough room for a family of four. Easy to find and handy parking spot. Not too far from the fells. Friendly neighbours. Cons: Nothing I didn't like. I brought an extra blanket for night time which was needed in winter. Highly recommended as good value for money." ~John

"Pros: House and location Cons: It was good stay with traditional house but the owner is so rude and ill manner when we forgot to remove bedsheets and didn't put it for washing where he wanted us to do ....so I paid 500 pounds for 3 days not for my relaxation infact to follow his cleaning instructions really ruined the whole feeling in the end" ~Mansoor
