"Pros: It’s unique quirky and spacious also decent location , not far from bus and train station ( nice routes to Liverpool ) plenty of shops around , pub across road is challenge 25, no I.D your not going in even for none alcoholic drinks.
Cons: It’s a little dated which is fine it’s part of it’s charm with antiques etc, there is some wear and tear especially in bathroom and walkway towards bathroom with some of the floor coming up , we was fine more of a concern with little kids as potentially sharp."

"Pros: Ideal location for us, we were visiting family which live local so we new of the area and it's local amenities and attractions.
Cons: Bit of ruckus 1 night early hours, police were called bit of local anti social behaviour but that can't be helped could happen anywhere."

"Pros: The staff were very nice and friendly in the restaurant and at the bar.
The beds were very comfy. The food was great. However the building could do with a revamp. The carpets need a good clean the bathroom would benefit from an update. Meaning a large shower rather than one over a very narrow bath would be more comfortable and safer.
Cons: Dirty carpets mo decade tea bags only one pack of biscuits in room when two adults staying in the room. I asked for tea bags and did get them provided but only loose on a tea plate
