"Pros: Location was ideal for visit to Beamish, clean, tidy and practical base for our visit. Shops in local area too so a really good base for exploring and visiting Durham. Cons: The bins in the back yard were heaving and no information with regards when to put them out for collection or would have done so for you. Maybe a short welcome sheet / pack with some details about the local area / amenities would be useful. Some place mats / coasters would also be useful to make sure your furniture doesn’t get damaged with marks etc. Really minor but the pillows in the front bedroom could also do with a refresh not the comfiest. Loved the selection of books in the property though 📚 👍" ~Adam

"Pros: Very well renovated & tastefully modernised mid terraced house. Superb location for getting to places of interest in both Co Durham & a little further afield in Northumberland. Kitchen equipped with all the basics for meal preparation. We found the beds really comfortable in both the double & twin bedded rooms. The area is a very quiet residential area so we had no disturbance from external noise. There was no problem at all parking outside the house on the street. We were a party of 3 adults but the house could well be used by a family. We had very minor teething problems which the hosts responded to postively . Would use the property again with no hesitation. Cons: Enjoyed our stay. The house met our needs perfectly. The only downside could be for less mobile guests as the internal staircase is quite steep." ~Brenda
