"Pros: Everything! It was absolutely beautiful, stylishly decorated, located right in the centre of Cromford. Prior to our stay Hayley couldn’t have been any more helpful going above and beyond for us. The bed was super comfy (we only used one room as a couple). Bathroom is gorgeous. Lots of amenities that mean you don’t have to immediately rush to the shop on your arrival which you often do in similar stays! Overall a fantastic stay. Cons: Not deal breakers by any means, it’s the nature of the beautiful area - but the parking is probably the worst thing, it’s a case of trying to hit on and get a space on the road outside which we were quite lucky with on arrival, then we went out in the car to visit a nearby town and on the way back couldn’t park anywhere near the house again! Wasn’t too big of an issue for us as a couple but if we were a family with kids it’d be worth being aware of I suppose! The other thing is the road outside is quite noisy, not an issue whatsoever for us two, we slept lovely in the comfy beds and not loud enough to keep us awake, the issue is the noise outside kept disturbing our dogs through the night - just something to be aware of if you have easily disturbed dogs like we do (ours are two nervous rescues!) That’s it for bad points - overall a fantastic stay." ~Ellie

"Pros: The property was clean and well presented. Easy access via key safe. The bed was comfortable. Good location in the centre of Cromford which is a quiet place but has a pub and cafe. Only a short drive to Matlock or Black Rocks and the High Peak trail. Cons: There are no blinds in the bedroom meaning we did get woken up at sunrise. I would recommend taking an eye mask. Also no coffee provided which would have been a bonus as we arrived late our first night and there wasn't any shops in walking distance to buy essentials." ~Hannah

"Pros: Pretty location overlooking the mill pond, close to the pub and Scarthin books. Cons: Surprising amount of road traffic in Cromford. Cottage was not too noisy though." ~Andrew

"Pros: The property is lovely and idle for a couple of days. It has everything you need and is very well maintained. We specifically welcomed the Prosecco, which was a very nice touch. Cons: Unfortunately, the noise of the road outside was just too loud at times, so we did not get a good night's sleep. I am not sure what could be done to stop this, though, which is sad because it might mean that we would stay longer next time. For the two nights we were there, it was enough." ~Rutland
