"Cons: An hour before arrival at the rented holiday home, we received a message that the boiler was broken and we would be offered another cottage. and this is where the problem begins, because apart from the fact that these were two completely different home standards, the foster home was very, very dirty. There were crumbs on the counter, cobwebs and animal hair everywhere, the microwave was dirty and there was a terrible smell inside. We lost almost 2 hours of cleaning to stay. The closets were full of the owner's belongings. Water was constantly accumulating on the windows. the bed in the living room was torn.We only stayed because we had other nearby attractions booked. We have photographic evidence of all this.I understand that the boiler could be damaged and I could accept it, but this mess in the foster home is a tragedy. It should not be like this." ~Grzegorz

"Pros: The location is perfect as the caravan was not far from the main entertainment and on site facilities. Also it is very close to local supermarkets without having to pay for over priced products at the on site grocery store, which can I say is only open to 6pm. The staff at the boathouse were fantastic and even kept really upbeat and energised despite how busy it was Cons: Nothing that we didn’t like, however it would’ve been nice to of been advised where the thermostat was in the caravan prior to arrival, as it was freezing at the time we visited Clayton so really needed heat. "Pros: The lounge and bedrooms were spacious enough for me, my partner and 4 young kids Cons: The caravan took forever to get to temperature and once it got cold outside it dropped dramatically and stayed cold the rest of the night. Outside there was loads of dug up ground with big holes in it so not the best location with children" ~Abigail
