"Pros: Beautiful old cottage which has been stylishly furnished & decorated. Very nice kitchen with everything we needed and an extendable table, although it’s a bit of a squash in the kitchen when 6 people are dining but it was fine for our family group. Loads of cupboards, drawers & storage space in the cottage. Great that we could bring our dog. Board games in the coffee table, dvds as well as tv were good for cosy night in. It was very good to have off street parking but it was a restricted, specific area so if you have more than one car you need to find an additional parking space in the village. Cons: We loved the property but there were just a few small things that could be improved, the kind of things that generally seem to be standard in cottage rentals, and then I would have given top marks. Would have been good to have a hairdryer to use. There were adequate bath & hand towels but they were quite thin. There was hand soap and dishwasher tablets but no washing-up liquid or welcome pack of mini shower gel, shampoo, etc. When checking in late in the day it would have been nice to have a welcome pack in the kitchen too, or just a bottle of milk in the fridge - although there were a few sachets of tea, coffee, sugar in the cupboard. It would have been more hygienic to have washable mattress protectors on the beds too, rather than just the bed sheets directly onto the mattresses." ~Angela
