"Pros: Very nice traditional cottage, in the heart of the village but away from the main street so fairly quiet. Super-convenient for walks and the very good local buses. Great views across to the Glyder hills from a couple of the rooms. Would be great for a young active family. Liked the cool (in both senses) fridge and appreciated the toiletries and one or two extras in the kitchen. Cons: All was good. The step down to both kitchen and bathroom might inconvenience the very young or very old - but it's the nature of the old building. I found the bed actually too soft but you can't please everyone!" ~Derek
