"Pros: Our stay at the Snuggery was nothing short of outstanding. It is clean, fully furnished with everything you could need and in the perfect location!
Even the little touches, they provide a booklet with information about the property and also a list of walks whilst in The Lakes. This was amazing for us as we took our dog, the booklet showed us a walk 2 minutes away from the property into a woods where we would let him have a run around in the morning before we set off for the day. We wouldn’t have known about this if it wasn’t for the information provided.
The location is also perfect, a 10/15 minute walk into both Windermere and Bowness.
If you’re considering booking this property you will not regret it!"

"Pros: Our stay at the Kingfisher was an absolute joy. The apartment was immaculate upon arrival and was equipped with everything we needed and more. We were told there were spare blankets incase we got chilly, but the place was so cosy and warm we didn’t need them. Key collection was smooth and we truly felt the owners had put so much thought and effort to make sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I’m usually always worried about cleanliness when staying at properties, but I can honestly say the Kingfisher was spotless, and the bedding lovely and fresh. There were even cosy dressing gowns for our stay.
Location was fabulous, snug right between Bowness town and Windermere town, both a 10 min walk to all the independent shops and food outlets (or less time on faster legs). I thought the location was perfect. There is also a bus stop at the bottom of the road and everything a short walk away. I wouldn’t hesitate for one second to stay here again. The owners were wonderful and so kind and helpful, the Kingfisher had everything we needed. Thank you so much for a truly fabulous stay, we’ll be back again soon!"
