"Pros: Stunning little cottages on the edge of a crater lake. We were able to watch birds and monkeys frolic below us from the little porch on our cottage. There is also a track that runs down to the lake and around and back up to the ridge, which was a nice walk. The food was exceptional - Joseph is a wonderful cook, and he was whipping up scrumptious meals out of his little kitchen. The staff were great also at reminding us when we needed to get moving to make it to our chimp trek. They always had pots of tea at the ready and provided exceptional service.
Cons: The showers didn't work - was a bucket and tap situation with only cold water, which was tougher on those cooler, rainy days. However, this was part of what made it a unique and rustic experience."
