"Pros: Location, location, location. Situated on the beach, East facing. A beach restaurant across the street on the beach, but a beautiful view from the first floor up. We didn't stay on the ocean side, but at the back, facing the back street. We had no problem with this as we looked down on an alley with a daily market. Dead quiet at night. The market didn't bother us. The room was neat and tidy, and the furniture was comfortable. We were in walking distance from everything. The restaurants, shops, tourist attractions. The room and the bathroom were good size. Working kettle, fridge and aircon. Cons: I really want to give this property a great rating, but the following problems arose: The bed line and towels were sub-standard. A single bed duvet inner in a double bed duvet cover. We had to ask for extra blankets. No hot water at the bathroom basin No hot water in the bathroom for two days. (We were told that it was a wider problem in Amasra) No choice to have our room cleaned. We had to live with a wet, slippery bathroom floor during our stay. The entrance from the ocean side looks like a dingy alley, cracked tiles and dirty. (they were busy laying underground cables in front of the building, which may have caused the dirt) Extra restaurant tables stored at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the upper floors. Two single bed mattresses stored in the passage leading to our room. A kettle in the room, no cups or glasses." ~Riaan
