"Pros: It’s so cool to stay in an old ottoman mansion like this. You really get a feel for the luxury of that time. The staff were really helpful, and helped guide me to the Gobeklitepe bus, and helped me call a taxi. They also gave me good advice on when to show up at the airport so I wouldn’t waste too much time (only 1 hour before departure for a domestic flight since it’s such a small airport). Also the room had really well functioning ac and heat. I could set the temperature exactly as I liked it. I arrived early in the morning and they helped me with storing my bags.
Cons: The WiFi didn’t work in the room I was in which wasn’t great. Also the bathrooms are a bit odd. It’s clear the building wasn’t originally built with having bathrooms inside the rooms themselves when first constructed. So there is a green panel wall built in the room separating the bathroom area. It reduced the effect of staying in such a cool building since the wall looks somewhat industrial and out of place. But this will only be a negative if you are mainly planning on staying here because of the luxury feeling."
