"Pros: * the location is perfect - so close to the river and the restaurants/bars/dolmus’
* the Villa is exactly as the photos show
* villa is clean and the beds are super comfy with really clean bed linen
* super helpful host
* lots of plates / pans / cutlery (could do with a bread knife)
* beautiful views, especially from the top bedroom balcony
* lovely owners in next property
Cons: These are not deal breakers but would have made the stay that more pleasurable (some are out of the control / hands of the owner so seems a little unfair to mention but I will to be transparent).
* we’d have preferred extra towels: supplied 1 for showering and 1 for hair. No hand towels (maybe the hair towels were the hand towels?). No tea towels. No pool towels. (Maybe make clear in advert no pool towels as we could have brought some). There’s a washing machine so used it but rather not do chores on hols!
* villa sleeps 6 but only 1 mug, 2 wine glasses. Be nice if 6 of each.
* the pool steps were very high. My parents couldn’t raise their leg high enough to reach first step to get out and struggled all week. My mum had to use the lady’s steps next door to get in and out meaning she had to walk past them on their patio - not ideal. Fine for me and my partner.
* Sun bed covers need replacing - were very stained and not inviting (we still used them but bought towels which we binned at end)
* dog opposite barks a lot, and most nights. Drove me mad, however my parents were less bothered by it. (Owner can’t fix this)
* occasion smell of drain / funky smell downstairs but could have been from outside ??
Having said all of the above we have had a lovely stay and these gripes may not fuss others, and I do think pretty good value for money so do go try yourself."

A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel «Apart Gala» is located in Dalyan. This hotel is located in the center of the city. In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel. Places nearby: Marmaris National Park, Marmaris Marina and Marmaris Castle.
