"Pros: This hotel is in a terrific location -a short, pleasant walk from the centre and close to the river. There is plenty of car parking available. The owners and personnel we interacted with were lovely, polite and caring. Each morning we were asked if we needed anything for our room - we did not, but at this point if you would like your room to be cleaned this is the time to ask for it. Breakfast was good too but could be improved with the inclusion of some fresh fruit. Our room was very comfortable - we really enjoyed being there. The shower was excellent - plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The central heating was managed well - our room was a comfortable temperature throughout our stay. We looked forward to returning to this room after each day of sightseeing. Cons: I would suggest to the owners that they put room dimensions in the room specifications. This would help potential guests to assess room suitability more accurately. We travelled with friends who booked a room with a double and single bed - they usually sleep separately. The photographs of this room made it look bright, spacious and opulent. In reality the room was pleasant but smaller and darker than had been suggested in the photographs. They were extremely disappointed with the room and very upset, especially as we were spending 4nights here. In the end they opted to change rooms and share a double bed in a brighter room with a better aspect. All this upset could have been avoided if the room dimensions were made available before booking." ~Skinnykangal
