"Pros: Beautiful traditional Tunisian residence in downtown Tunis, walking distance from the city center. Extremely helpful and polite hosts. Rooms are simple but clean and functional. Breakfast was simple but good."

"Pros: Beautiful house, very kind and helpful hosts. It felt more like a homestay than an guesthouse and very authentically Tunisian. Choose this place if you want an interesting experience. Avoid this place if you are interested in comfort and good facilities.
Cons: No shower curtain, beds were uncomfortable, room only had a space heater and was always a little cold (in January). Had to change rooms in the middle of the stay. I would avoid this place as a single female traveler due to security issues as my first room didn't fully close and neither room locked. Male host was very friendly but unprofessional -- offered to get the two of us alcohol so we could hang out together."
