"Pros: The hosts were lovely and extremely welcoming and helpful. We had a wonderful time, it could not have been better! The garden is beautiful and the perfect place to relax. Additionally, the food in the restaurant was very good and clearly prepared with love and care. For people exploring the south of Tunisia (and birds or other wildlife), the location is great - supermarkets and tank stations nearby in Kebili - while the Sahara, mountains and salt lake are all within an hour drive. I cannot recommend this place enough, and when we return to Tunisia we will for sure visit Dar Barka again! Cons: Absolutely nothing!" ~Sylvia

"Pros: My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Garden12. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and we really felt at home during our stay. They let us check out a few hours later than expected due to the intense heat of Douz on that particular day which was very kind.
