"Pros: We had a wonderful week at Dar Rita. I loved the ambience and architecture of the traditional Tunisian Dar. It was lovely to be in a family home, but with plenty of privacy and personal space. Everything was very clean and we felt very safe and secure the whole time. Eric and Amira are the kindest and most genuine people that you could meet. Both did everything that they could to ensure that we had a great holiday. We were shown many interesting places and the best places to eat, shop, and exchange money. Eric was happy to give us lifts to the beach and to the airport and to facilitate everything we wanted to do. We had two amazing day trips with him - one to southern Tunisia to see where Star Wars was filmed and to visit ancient Berber villages, and the other a tour of the island of Djerba. Eric is intelligent, witty, and good fun. Also a knowledgeable and considerate guide, and a good driver. Breakfasts made by Amira were very tasty - lots of variety of sweet and savoury dishes some of which were familar but also Tunisian dishes we hadn't tried before. Amira cooked us two delicious dinners ensuring that we had the opportunity to try many different local specialities. One evening we had a fabulous dinner at the nearby associated establishment L'Autre Dar. This is a restaurant year-round and has bed and breakfast rooms in high summer, again with lovely ambience and architecture. Thank you very much Eric and Amira. Cons: Everything was great." ~Bridget
