Stayed here for 2 weeks before renting a long-term apartment and really loved it here. Big rooms, good air flow. Perfect location, 5 mins walk to city center. Good communication with the host. "Pros: Perfect location for CKK Jordanki - Camerimage. 5 min walk. Old town also walking distance, about 8 mins. Easy access, safe. Cons: Bathroom has some “old” smell, one of 3 beds is comfy with thicker mattress, but other 2 are hard and thin. Apartment on top - 4th floor, which is fine unless your mobility is limited. Small windows. No Wi-Fi, but I knew it, it was pointed in advert." ~Daniel

"Pros: Great location - it is a walking distance to Torun Old Town, and also easy access to transportation (buses, tram) in case anyone wants to get to a further place than they can walk. You can get to virtually any place in Torun in maximum 20-30 minutes from this location using public transport. Also, despite being in the city center it is a very quiet area. You don't have to worry about city noises during the night which may disturb your sleep. Rental is furnished in core household items like kitchen utensils, silverware, plates etc., so if you are staying for longer than a day or two and you want to eat in, you will be able to do some basic cooking. There are washing machine , portable drying rack, iron and ironing board available as well, so you will be able to take care of your clothes if needed. The host also was accommodating, as when I wanted to extend my stay, even though the Booking system wasn't allowing me, then were able to host me for two more days. The only disadvantage was that I needed to do a bank transfer to them directly instead of through the Booking Cons: There are couple things one needs to be aware when renting this place. 1. It is an economy-level rental, so all the furnishing are very basic. Taking into account the price, you may say good value for your money. 2. The way the apartment is built is kind of weird - when you enter the rental you get right into the bedroom, and you go through bedroom to the living room area. It creates a feeling that you are sleeping in a hallway. 3. As I mentioned before all the furnishing is very basic on a border of cheap. For example when you book this place for a single occupancy you literally get ONE pillow and ONE bath towel. So if you prefer to have two each, because you prefer to have two pillows in your bed or you're staying for longer and want to have a spare towel, make sure you book your stay for double occupancy upfront (small price difference) as later on it might be costly to change. 4. I am not sure if this was a glitch in the Booking system or the way the rental is set up there, but I wasn't able to extend my stay online, I had to speak to the host to do that (which worked pretty well). Just an additional inconvenience. 5. Changing the occupancy from one person to two either to have two towels/pillows or to have someone to stay with you for a day or two was made by the host very difficult. Even though the online price for my stay between one or two person occupancy was negligible when I was booking it in the first place (it was about 10% of a daily rate for my whole 6 day stay), when I wanted to change it after I arrived, they wanted full one-day rate for each day. I don't know where this lack of flexibility comes from (it is definitely not customer friendly), so make sure you book this rental for correct number of guests upfront." ~Sławek
