"Pros: So clean and lovely rooms. We had the family suite for 2 adults and 13 and 9 year old. Room was massive! Very happy, friendly staff, great location! Literally on an amazing beach with hardly anyone on it! I counted 15 people on the beach as far as I could see! Lovely pool and swim up bar. There are some on the beach food places if you walk along the beach to the right if you fancy a change. We hired a car from Phuket airport and had travelled around. Khao lak is a great, less busy location. Good base to go and explore kho sok national park which is around 1 hour lovely, scenic drive. Then around half hour south of khao lak is towns to explore markets and the tsunami memorial and turtle sanctuary. This was a little luxury for us for 3 night to end our trip. Would definitely come back! Cons: This is not a negative as everything was great. But I think some would find it a little isolated. You may need a car or taxi to get to places. Not much within walking distance. But that was a positive for us after the hustle and bustle of Phuket and Koh Samui!" ~Adam
