"Pros: We really liked this hotel. It is off the main road, so there is no traffic noise. There are roosters and hens walking around the yard, which is great. In the evening, when it gets dark, the local birds start singing, it feels a bit like being in the jungle, but you are still in the city - we really liked it. The location is great - 300 m from the bus station from Bangkok and the ferry port, if you are thinking of going further by boat. The hotel provided us with a rental scooter, which was very useful for us to explore the area and try different places to eat. We didn't use the pool, we just sunbathed there, but we really liked the cleanliness both near the pool and around the area. The staff was super nice, we liked everything." ~Kristine

"Pros: We booked for 1 week which is not usual for this place. If I had to rate this place based on my first day, I would have given them a 1 star. We were welcomed with”check-in is a 2pm”. No hello, no smile, no “you want to put down your luggage”. We showed up 1pm, not expecting to check-in, just to get some food from their high rates restaurant.There was big surprise when they realised we were there 1 week, strange. We got a room, in front of the only music speaker. They played only ONE SONG for 6 HOURS - honestly, this felt like torture. It was Songkran so we didn’t say anything at first. But after 6hrs we asked to lower the volume, and they did immediately and kept the same song next day, at a very lower level. There was only 1 song in the restaurant as well (different song), not much effort. The room was clean , new and comfortable. Big tv, big bed, fridge, wifi was fast and stable. Aside for the first encounter, the staff was lovely. The food in the restaurant is great. The pool is nice. Cons: I am confused with this place. It’s comfy and nice but some choice are very questionable and lack service, which is not normal for Thailand (and the price target!). You can order food from your room conveniently with QR code. But they won’t pick up your dirty dishes!! You have to bring them down or they stay on your porch all night. They have a pool with black tile, black painted METAL furniture, rusty and broken, making it difficult to fully enjoy the pool. There is also no place to put your stuff or sit if you don’t have a room next to the pool. No shade and the black tile got so hot it nearly impossible to enjoy yourself. The drying rack they gave us was very rusted. For the price, not worth it. Maybe 1 or 2 nights. Breakfast was decent and big, but same all week." ~Lidia
