"Pros: Very beautiful hotel right at the center, quiet but close to all the restaurants and the girls at the reception were very kind and helpful! The breakfast was satisfactory and enough to keep one satiated through out the day. Cons: Well, where to begin? In the whole island there are a lot of mosquitos - but in this hotel they were everywhere (pool, bathrooms and even in the room itself!). They could put bug catchers in the rooms at least. But there were plenty of other animals around the hotel - frogs, lizards etc.. The bungalows were tiny, and the room in the building that was supposed to be bigger were also very small. The beds were rock hard, the cleaning of the bathroom was lacking - and the worst part, you can only take pool towels from the lobby after you’ve signed your name. This was very annoying as the pool is on the other side of the hotel!! In general it felt odd to only have a towel if you sign and made the hotel lose grace in my opinion. To finish, there was a man in the staff who took our bags from and to the pier - he was very rude and unpleasant but still demanded a tip!! It was truly a first time for me encountering a service man this rude in the whole of thailand." ~Adele
