"Pros: Beautiful views and landscaping. We were very comfortable in our villa and loved the outdoor shower. Breakfasts were delicious with lots to choose from. We also liked the nightly happy hour, watching the sunset with a cocktail. Cons: There isn't much to do on Koh Yao Yai. It's very rural, and there is little reason to leave the resort and go elsewhere. We rented a boat to go island hopping, which was great. We also rented mopeds to explore the island, which was kind of cool---lots of beautiful beaches. However, there is zero nightlife and barely any other restaurants around. This is a resort and an island to head to if you really want to chill out and relax. We spent a lot of time reading, relaxing, and swimming, and ate at the one restaurant every night for 4 nights." ~Samantha
