"Pros: We loved the friendliness of the staff, and that each accommodation block had its own swimming pool. Often we were the only people using it. The size of the room was generous and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice of varied cuisines. The location of La Flora is superb, right on a beautiful long beach as well as being an easy walk into the town. Cons: We felt that the price of food and wine was expensive considering that the prices in all of the local restaurants were much less than at the hotel. On the final day of our week stay on arriving for breakfast we found that on every table was a laminated sign warning guests that if they attempted to take food away from the breakfast room then they would be charged 550 Baht for each plate taken. We felt that this was a bit petty and accusational which we felt was beneath the standard of this hotel and made us feel uncomfortable." ~Gregory
