"Pros: Walking down the steps into the resort you'd think its at least a 4-star. The views of the sun, sea, sand, pool, trees, resort - all unbelievably good. Probably the most pleasing views I have ever seen in Thailand. The staff really good, especially Ploy on reception - her English is the best I have experienced. The location is so peaceful and beautiful. Just sit back on the sun chairs and take in the calm. Pool perfectly positioned. Restaurant food and drinks service was incredible. Honestly, for a few nights of relaxation and chill this place is amazing. The beach/sea isnt very deep but the waters and sand are immaculate when you wade in. We wish we could go back.
Cons: As its fairly isolated, the restaurant isn't the cheapest (for Thailand). I think when staff are quiet, perhaps give them a maintenance rota. A lick of paint to cover cracks, marks and general wear & tear would go a long way - keep the resort looking as good as possible. Mosquitos are killers in this region!"
